This work is planned. Nothing has been built yet, and this page will say so until that changes.
The long-term plan is a medical clinic serving both the school and the surrounding community, with training that leaves qualified Ugandan health workers in place. This work is in the planning stage — nothing has been built yet, and we will report progress here as it happens.
Illness is one of the most common reasons a child's schooling stops. Malaria, untreated infection, a parent falling sick — any of them can end an education that was going well. A clinic on site is intended to keep ordinary illness from becoming a permanent interruption.
The longer-term intention is training as much as treatment: Ugandan health workers, qualified and paid, serving their own community — so that the clinic does not depend on visitors arriving.
Serving the school
Day-to-day care for boarding children, so that being unwell does not mean going home indefinitely.
Serving the community
A clinic that is useful to families in the surrounding area, not only to enrolled pupils.
Training local workers
Capacity that remains in Bugiri, rather than care that arrives and leaves with a team.

We would rather leave this page short than fill it with words that promise more than we can currently evidence. Specifically, this is what will be added here:
- Whether the clinic has been designed or costed
- Which services it is intended to provide
- Partnerships with Ugandan health authorities
- Staffing and training plans
- Where the clinic sits in the build sequence
- Any current medical provision for the children
Help build the school
The Bugiri School Project is being built by Ugandan believers in their own community. Partnership from abroad helps pay for it, prays for it, and stays with it.
